The Noor Project is a charitable organization that Taj Welfare Foundation supports and works together with. The Noor Project consists of its own educational, health, and feeding programs with have its own facility in Lahore, Pakistan. Please visit www.thenoorproject.org for more information. Below is some of the listed programs:

Literacy

K-8 schooling system provide young boys and girls with the tools for literacy and a better future. Provides Montessori Oxford level education, hot lunches, and school supplies to young boys and girls. 420 students with 60 new students enrolling every year.

Workshops

Provides workshops to enable our community members with the skills they need to become self-sufficient. The workshops teach vital skills in the areas of Computer, Sewing, Embroidery, Beautician, and Electrical. 720 yearly trainees.

Clinic & Pharmacy

A fully functioning and on-site clinic and pharmacy providing medical & dental aid from doctors. Our on-site clinic and pharmacy provide free medical & dental treatment including medicine for over 1120 patients every month. 16,000 yearly patients.

Food Bank & Feeding Center

In combination with daily meals, The Noor Project provides all impoverished community members with “Provision Packages” that supply basic and necessary food and hygienic items to assist in easing the daily struggle of surviving through poverty. 657,000 yearly meals.

Orphanage:

Providing a safe haven for the orphaned children. This program addresses the needs of our orphaned by providing them with housing, nutritional meals, medical aid, and the tools for literacy that will allow them the opportunity of a better life. 62 girls yearly.
